Our hands.
Our hometown.

Rise started with a family recipe, a small shop on the square, and a mother who said, “I’ll help with the early shift.”

Brick bakery storefront with a yellow door on the square

Here since 2015.

Hannah spent years making cakes for family birthdays. When a little storefront opened up on the Monticello square, she decided to make room for everyone else’s birthdays, too. Deb came with her. The menu grew from cakes to bread, from bread to pastry, and from pastry to a Saturday roll worth getting up for.

We still make the dough here. We still fold the pastry by hand. And when a batch is gone, it’s gone. Small is how we keep it good.

Hannah and Deb complete annual food-safety training. Our demonstration Arkansas retail food permit number is RF-2026-04182; this is a fictional credential for a fictional shop.
