Meet your photographer

A camera. A darkroom. A little patience.

I’m Lauren Pike, a photographer and printmaker in Morrilton. I make photographs that feel like the people in them.

I still believe in paper.

I’m Lauren. I opened this little business after printing my own wedding photographs in a garage darkroom. Twelve years later, the room is still small. The reasons to make pictures keep getting bigger.

I’ll tell you where the light is good, then give you space to be yourselves. A wedding day, a loose tooth, the summer before college: it’s enough, just as it is.

One photographer, start to finish.

I handle your planning call, photography, editing and print selections. For weddings, an experienced second photographer joins me for the ceremony. Family and senior sessions are just me, a camera and you.

Working in film and digital since 2014. I keep backups of edited galleries for one year, use archival paper for your prints and carry business liability coverage. The studio is a working space, with visits by appointment.

The slower part is my favorite.

Film gets developed, negatives get checked, and each print gets time in the trays. Your digital gallery makes sharing easy. The paper is for the kitchen wall, the album and whoever comes next.

From first hello to your wall.

A few simple steps. I’ll help with the details.

Let’s make something worth keeping.

Tell me your date and a little about your people.
