Our story
An old barn. A new beginning.
A family place, thoughtfully restored. We’re glad you found your way here.

Jim & Carol Whitlow
Owners and your hosts
Jim’s grandparents built this dairy barn in the 1940s. We grew up with the river in our backyard and never quite stopped finding reasons to gather here. In 2015 we started repairing the beams, opening the old doors and giving the barn a second life.
Our first wedding was in 2017. We still give the tours ourselves whenever we can. Carol knows the evening light; Jim knows the weather. Both of us want you to feel at home before you ever choose a date.
The barn and restrooms have step-free access. The grove has a grass path; tell us what your guests need and we’ll walk the route with you.
The people behind the day.

Leah Morgan
Wedding day coordinator
Leah joined us in 2021. She walks through your timeline, talks to your vendors and knows just where to find another safety pin.

Ben Hale
Grounds and venue care
Ben has cared for the property since 2017. He keeps the paths clear, the grass ready and the barn looking like itself.
