Our people

You’ll know
who to call.

Two partners, four good colleagues, and an office that has been part of Stuttgart since 1996.

The brick office under a shade tree.

An office built
on conversation.

Carolyn Whitfield started this practice with a desk, a green lamp, and a simple belief: a grower should be able to ask a tax question without needing a dictionary. Marcus Oates joined in 2008, bringing small business and payroll experience to the same table.

The tools have changed. The work still starts by listening. We serve Arkansas County and nearby communities in Prairie, Jefferson, and Monroe counties, including DeWitt, Hazen, and Clarendon.

The people
behind the paperwork.

Here’s how we start.

  1. A first conversation

Tell us what you need and when. We will let you know if we are the right fit.

  2. A clear scope and fee

We review the records, agree on what is included, and explain the price before we start.

  3. A careful review, together

We walk through the work in plain words and make sure you know what happens next.
