A fork, not a factory.
Every seam is pressed by hand.
Rison, Arkansas. Since 1978.
A borrowed fryer. A basket of peaches. Enough nerve to put a little stand beside Highway 79.
That was Louise Greer’s start. She learned her dough from her mother, learned everybody’s order by heart, and never learned to make a pie in a hurry. We still roll, fill, fold and crimp every one by hand.

1978
Lou started with a borrowed fryer, a peach tree, and a little stand on Highway 79. Folks stopped for a pie. Then they stopped for Lou.
Meet the family
In 2021, Lou’s grandson worked out how to send a little of Rison to folks who had moved away. He lines the boxes, checks the pies, and makes sure your gift note goes on top. Lou checks his work.
Send a little home
Every seam is pressed by hand.

Golden crust, a gentle drain, then a cool counter.

Wax paper between the pies. Your note on top.
