Clover & LyeGoat milk soap co.

Our milk. Our hands.

We’re Becca and Tom. The goats do the early shift. We do the soap-making.

Becca and Tom in their bright small soap workshop

A little farm outside Mountain View.

We started Clover & Lye in 2018 with more fresh goat milk than our kitchen could use. A first loaf of plain soap became a farmers’ market table, then a shelf in our workshop. We still make each batch by hand, and we still keep the ingredient lists short enough to explain.

Tom looks after the herd and cuts the bars. Becca develops the recipes and packs the orders. Our soap gets six full weeks on the curing rack before we let it leave the farm.

Recipes & wrapping

I weigh the oils, tend each batch, and tuck a note into the gift boxes.

Herd & hand-cutting

I do the morning milking, cut each loaf, and keep the curing racks in order.

The ingredient you can’t rush.

Six weeks on the rack gives each bar time to become firm and long-lasting.

  1. Day 1 · Mix & pour

Fresh milk meets our blend of oils.

  2. Day 2 · Cut by hand

Each loaf becomes its own little collection of bars.

  3. Weeks 1–5 · Rest

Air moves around every bar on the wooden rack.

  4. Week 6 · Ready for you

We check each batch, then wrap it for the journey.
