In 2010, I helped my parents find a home closer to the water. The houses were easy to compare. The places were harder. Which road felt quiet? Which dock could they use? Who would answer a question after closing?

That became the practice. Today at Whitlock & Co., we get to know the life you want before we get lost in square footage. Sometimes that means a lake home. Sometimes it means a shorter drive and a smaller yard. We’ll talk honestly about both.
