Days on the river

Some days stay with you.

A few moments from the floats, the small water, and the quiet in between. Every photograph is generated for this illustrative business.

A rainbow trout in a rubber net touching the river surface, supported by wet hands — A quick look, then back in the water.

A guide and two passengers in life jackets drifting in an aluminum jon boat — A morning drift with room to talk.

A brown trout swimming over gravel below the clear river surface — A brown trout, right where it belongs.

A sandwich lunch on a folding table beside a gravel riverbank — Lunch tastes better on a gravel bar.

A parent and teenager wearing life jackets in a jon boat — A good day is more than the catch.

Morning mist above clear Norfork gravel shallows — The small water rewards a little patience.

Cork fly rod, landing net and anchor rope inside an aluminum jon boat — Ready before you reach the ramp.

Sycamore bark and green leaves beside a misty river — The view between casts.

An arched bridge over a misty river near Cotter — Our hometown, from the river.

The river has room for you.
