// household
One plan for the whole house. $59 a month.
The router, the WiFi, the filtered DNS, the monitoring — and the laptop that won't print, the phone that won't sync, the TV that lost the network again. Household is a managed home network with a person attached to it. You reach the engineer who set it up, and most of what goes wrong is simply covered.
> How it works
We talk first
A short call about the house: how many people, what's on the network, what keeps going wrong. You tell us the house rules for the kids' devices; we set them.
The router arrives configured
Business-grade hardware from our own build: hardened, filtered DNS on, monitoring built in. Two cables, about five minutes. If you'd rather we walk you through it live, we do.
It checks in with the NOC
The moment it powers on it reports to our network operations centre over an encrypted tunnel. From then on we see link health, outages and firmware state before you'd notice.
Then the devices are covered too
Anything on the network is ours to help with, remotely: a printer, a laptop, a phone that won't join the WiFi, a smart TV. Text or call, and the person who answers already knows your setup.
> What "covered" means
The network
- Managed router included on the plan — we own the firmware, you never touch a setting
- Filtered DNS: ads, malware and phishing blocked for every device, no apps to install
- Per-device content filtering for the kids' devices, on the rules you give us
- 24/7 monitoring from the RedCyfer NOC; firmware and security updates done for you
- Guest WiFi kept off your own devices
The devices on it
- Unlimited remote support for the household's laptops, phones, tablets, printers and TVs
- Under an hour is simply covered — no line items, no counting minutes
- Live screen-share in your browser, or hands-on remote control when that's faster
- Anything bigger is priced before the work, in writing — you say go, or you don't
- If it's genuinely down, it gets dealt with

> Why not the usual options?
A box and a phone number
- The ISP's rented router: nobody manages it, nobody watches it, you're on hold when it fails
- A mesh kit from the store: fine until it isn't, and then the "support" is a forum
- A pay-per-visit tech: a different stranger each time, and the printer problem waits a week
Household
- One number, one person, who already knows how your house is wired
- The router is watched around the clock; most fixes happen before you'd have called
- The devices are covered, not just the box in the cupboard
- The price on this page is the price, and it never moves once you're on it
> Honest limits
Support is remote. We fix what can be fixed over a screen-share or a remote session, which is most things; a dead hard drive still needs a shop. We look after your network's health — is it up, is it secure, is it fast — not your browsing; the filtered DNS blocks known-bad domains, it doesn't log where you go. The router stays on our firmware and our monitoring because that's what makes it maintainable; if it ever dies, we ship you another one free. You keep your own internet provider.
> Ask a question first
Rather talk before you sign up? Tell us about the house and what's been going wrong.
The router is RedCyfer fleet equipment on your subscription: failure replacement is free, and cancelling inside the 12-month term means returning the device or a one-time $149 equipment fee. After the term the plan continues month-to-month. Hardware ships to any US address; setup, monitoring and support are handled remotely.
